URBANSPACE is coming to chicago
Urbanspace is bringing two new food halls to the heart of Chicago’s theatre and business districts. In a city known for its indulgent eats, Urbanspace will set the stage for local, independent, neighborhood chefs to thrive and share their passion. Our two halls will host an impressive mix of Chicago favorites, on-the-rise newbies and even some NYC transplants, all within two iconic locations.
“The food is fantastic, the vibe and the energy is just amazing.”
Last year, Urbanspace, operators of two New York food halls, announced it was opening in Chicago inside the Willis Tower and the company followed in March with news of a second Chicago hall coming to 15 W. Washington Street in the Loop. Now the company is slowly revealing the food lineup which will include two New York imports.
Urbanspace Challenge Chicago is a creative competition whose aim is to help discover the culinary entrepreneurs of tomorrow and provide them a platform to connect with eaters eager for new flavors. Just when you thought Chicago’s food scene couldn’t get any better, we announced that we are bringing another food hall into the mix!

Among a plethora of new amenities, the Willis Tower will soon offer its best yet - an Urbanspace food hall! Located at the base of Chicago’s tallest building, the market will cover multiple floors housing the best of Chicago’s local chefs and culinary concepts.
