The South Street Seaport
Urban Space created a public marketplace in the Fulton Market Building and outdoors on Fulton Street in conjunction with the Rouse Company. The project demonstrated the benefits of a local marketplace initiative for a national owner. The New York Times called it "(a great way to) get small designers exposure in a major shopping center" Urban Space also created The Home and Garden Festival (http://www.urbanspacenyc.com/projects/betterhomes/index.html) with the Seaport and Better Home and Garden Magazine.
